We hear a lot about soul mates, twin flames, karmic relationships, and spiritual ties… but do you really know the difference?

First things first - you are more than a soul.

Your soul is the part of you that has existed long before your experience on Earth and will exist long after your experience on Earth. Your soul combines with your mind and body on Earth to create your Human experience. Without a body and mind, your soul cannot move through life on Earth. Without a soul, your body and mind have no purpose on Earth. They are connected and of equal importance.

In a way, your soul is bigger than YOU, because your soul is connecting with your body and mind to fulfill a purpose outside of your life on Earth. Your soul is here to learn a lesson and progress into a higher state of being. With a body and mind comes free will, and you have many choices on Earth. Your soul is here to fulfill a greater destiny, but YOU are made up of more than just a soul. You’re also here to choose (with your mind) and act (with your body) the life you desire.

You have full responsibility for your experience on Earth, regardless of your soul’s agenda.

Your soul, right now, is the result of many many past lives and energies. Your soul holds the energetic imprint of your past selves. That energetic imprint shows up in your life on Earth as karma, but it also can act as a magnet - pulling you towards other souls who have played important roles in your past lives.

These connections can be connected to a problem left unsolved, a soul-changing lesson, a deep healing energy, or an attachment wound and they show up in our Human lives as twin flames, soul mates, karmic relationships, and spiritual ties.

Let’s break down each of these connections in more detail….

Twin Flame

an intense soul connection with another person, thought to be a person’s other half, sometimes called a “mirror soul.” This person shows you parts of yourself that you may or may not be comfortable seeing. They can be triggering, but always in a way meant to push you towards a more complete state of being.

Soul Mate

a person who is perfectly suited to another in temperament. A person who strongly resembles another in attitude or beliefs. An idealogical match. This person understands your behaviors and motivations without you having to explain yourself. They feel like another version of you.

Karmic Relationship

a passionate relationship that is often full of turbulence. A relationship meant to fulfill karma from a past life. They are relationships we need in order to grow. They show us what we believe, who we are, and who we are NOT. They are often connected to deep attachment wounds.

Spiritual Tie

a connection with another person that brings you closer to God. These relationships make you believe in miracles and remind you that your purpose is bigger than your life on Earth. These relationships often feel “meant to be” and serendipitous.
