Vesta is in Retrograde until August 22
Have you ever heard of Vesta? I’d love to tell you about her.
In Roman mythology, Vesta was the Goddess of The Hearth Fire. She was one of the goddesses who was eaten by her dad (gross) and freed by Jupiter (Zeus, in Greek myths). She was the first one eaten and the last one rescued, so her energy sits in this weird place between young and old - being the first to die and the last to rise. Once she was reborn, she begged Jupiter/Zeus to let her be a solo baddie and never get married. She was granted her wish and in return, she tended to the hearth in the home.
Vesta represents both an inner fire and an inner peace. Her energy connects us to our inner flame that burns for our passions and helps us see what’s worth fighting for (what’s worth fueling) and what is destroying the peace of our inner home.
