See Ya, 2022! Hello, 2023!
Wheeewwwww last year was a doozy, am I right?
Two extremely potent eclipse seasons, an S ton of retrogrades, the tail-end of Saturn in Aquarius, and that Aries Chiron going strong the entire year. What a ride.
As we wrap up December 2022, let’s do a quick recap of the energy last year and what lessons you may (or may not) have learned from it.
We started the year with Jupiter in Pisces, which gave us a deepening to connection to our life path and the abundance and blessings that surround us. It seems like this was the year for a lot of us to finally recognize that we really CAN have whatever we want in life, it’s just our own limiting beliefs getting in the way. This energy pushed us to see where we need to expand our energy and it may have also set the tone for the changes in our lives this year - letting go of limiting energies and embracing fresh ones. The lesson? Embrace change, because those changes are opening you up to greater abundance.
Eclipse Season #1 started in April and it brought with it A LOT of shifts. You may have become painfully aware of something you didn’t feel ready to face, you could have lost a job or a friend or a family member, maybe you had a huge a-ha moment that showed you where you 'should’ be in life and revealed that you’ve been moving in the wrong direction. Whatever it was, it was powerful and it forced you to consider your own perspectives in life. It pushed you towards your convictions and made you realize that you’re tougher than you let on. The lesson? Own your beliefs. Stand strong in your convictions. You’re in control of your mindset and your life.
Mars went retrograde in October and will stay there through early 2023. It’s setting us up for some big actions moving forward toward our goals and manifestations, but first it’s asking us to consider all of the factors of what we want. Why do you want what you want? What will you do when you get it? Who are you serving? How does your desire connect to your path in life? These questions are bringing you closer to your true self and allowing your actions to be guided from a place of true authenticity rather than by comparison or competition. The lesson? You do you, boo.
Second Eclipse season hit in the Fall and it wasn’t as potent as the first, but it tied up some loose ends. It may have brought some fears to the surface to work through. It may have shown you how far you’ve come. It may have reminded you that you still have work to do. The lesson? It’s time to recommit to the life you’ve chosen for yourself.
The year is wrapping up with Jupiter in Aries and a Mercury retrograde in Capricorn. Basically, it’s time to choose your actions carefully. You have power in your life and it’s time for you to acknowledge it. What do you want? Go get it. The lesson? Own your energy. 100%
2023 starts in just a few days, and while it’s not the start of the astrological calendar, it does still signify a shift in energy for a lot of us. The main vibe for the year is FOLLOW THROUGH and TRUST YOURSELF.
Do something every day in 2023 to connect you to your intuition and do something every day in 2023 to commit to your goals.
