Before we dive into this week’s content, I’d like to tune in to our triggers.
Think about your most recent experience with feeling triggered.
Was that trigger provoked by your partner? Your child? Your own shortcomings?
What is that trigger connected to… deep down?
Is it a reminder of an insecurity?
An attachment wound?
A fear?
I believe that triggers are here to teach us about ourselves.
The things that trigger us reveal where we aren’t quite ready to see ourselves FULLY.
The things that annoy you or anger you about other people often have a connection to something within ourselves that we don’t want to see. The things that bring up our deepest insecurities often come from a place of fear and a lack of presence within ourselves.
So, take some time to dive deep into your own triggers. Write them down if you need to. Take inventory of what you know about yourself in this area… and then dive into the next video.
