ECLIPSE SEASON 2023... you're gonna find balance and you're gonna assert your damn self

Contrary to what lots of Instagram astrologers want you to believe, we have eclipses every single year. This idea that THIS eclipse season is THE eclipse season is a little far-fetched and tbh I think it’s an easy way to pull humans off their rockers and into a spiral of “what am I supposed to dooooo???”

The truth is, every single year we have a minimum of four eclipses. Sometimes there are more. In 1982, we had seven! (and we will have seven again in 2038). In 2020 we had six. Every year is a little bit different, but at a bare minimum, because of the way the planets rotate, we always have four eclipses in a calendar year.

If eclipses are happening so regularly, why don’t we always hear about them? BECAUSE WE CAN’T ALWAYS SEE THEM! Astrologically speaking, the eclipses (whether we see them or not) do have an energetic affect on us. Every. Single. Time. and when you look back on your life you may notice that big events and a-ha moments tend to fall on the eclipses.

This is when cosmic info starts to get fun.

When you learn to track the movement of the planets and connect it to your life’s choices, energy, changes, etc. you will notice patterns. As you notice more and more patterns, you’ll get better and better at “predicting” your future. You can see what pattern might be coming up again.

So, before I give you the deets on these upcoming Eclipses, I want to give you some tools to help you predict what COULD come up for you this time.

Deep breath.

Take yourself back to May 2022.

May 2022 was the beginning of our previous Eclipse season energy. From May 2022 - NOW you’ve been seeing similar patterns coming up in your life. It probably had to do with transformation and release and with redefining comfort and security.

These patterns repeated for 18 months through three eclipse cycles shifting between Taurus and Scorpio energy. These patterns existed for your growth, and while you’re not 100% there yet, this move into a new eclipse phase means you’re letting go of those old lessons and accepting new patterns and lessons into your life moving forward.

We are about to enter the next 18 month eclipse cycle of Aries and Libra energy. To understand how these energies will affect you, think about the times in your life when you’ve had to assert yourself and when you’ve needed to STFU and surrender. You are finding balance and acceptance during these next 18 months, but this balance and acceptance and assertiveness and surrender will show up in different areas of your life - all depending on the house of your Aries and Libra energy.

In life, where have you MOST OFTEN needed to assert yourself? Where have you most often needed to bite your tongue? What part of life is in most need of a rebalance? Is it your home life? Your relationships? Your sense of independence and adventure? Maybe your career or your relationship with your parents?

Whatever stands out to you is what you will be revisiting over the next 18 months. Be ready to receive whatever the universe dumps on you.

An eclipse represents discovery.

This is a time of seeing new truth in your life and gaining intense and limitless clarity on who you are and where you're going. The discovery that comes from an eclipse holds the power to completely shift your perspective and many times it can challenge you to really stay true to what you believe.

The Autumn eclipses in Libra and Aries are setting the tone for the next 18 months.

Use this energy to recommit to your goals and beliefs.

Own your power as a human being with free will and at the same time honor your intuition and cosmic purpose. Trust that whatever is revealed to you is done so for your highest good and is working to break away the limitations that are keeping you from grasping the life you’re meant to live.

The new moon eclipse is pushing you to realize your goals and desires. This is the time to set intentions.

The full moon eclipse is about release. It’s a time when you’re able to entrust your destiny to the universe and let your limitations fall away.

Basically, the eclipses act as time warps. They speed up time. They cut out the in-between and cut to the reality of your life. It’s not always easy or fun, but it’s incredibly important to accept these shifts if you’re serious about changing the energy of your life.

We can’t choose how things come to us.
