There is A LOT going on in the Human Design energy in the month of September that can disconnect us if we aren’t prepared for it. We are here to teach you how to use this energy to your advantage and put it into practice.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:
While Breathwork is a wonderful, profound, and safe practice, if you have any of the following health conditions/concerns it is best not to partake in the practice:
Breathwork is not recommended for:
Pregnant women
People with of history cardiac arrhythmia
Asthma
Epilepsy
History of any other lung or breathing issues
Taking antipsychotic medications
That is not to say you cannot come to the circle to connect and share if you have any of these contraindications! You most certainly can, you will just be provided an alternative practice during the breathwork portion. Please let one of the circle leaders know beforehand if you have any of the contraindications listed above!

About Breathwork:
Breathwork is an active meditation using a conscious, continuous breathing pattern. It is an effective way of getting away from the swirling thoughts in your head and into your body. In doing this, it allows you to experience true presence and expel negative thoughts, emotions, and energy.
For our Circle, we will each be setting personal intentions of what we would like to focus on releasing - negative thoughts, anxiety, stress, resistance, etc. - and then using the breath to move the energy.
Tips for an Extra Impactful Breathwork Session:
You are EMPOWERED with this practice!
This means, ultimately if you need to move, if you need to yell or cry, if you need to change the breathing pattern (ideally after the first 5 minutes), if you aren’t breathing at the same pace as the guide- that is OKAY! It is your breath, it is your experience. Your experience is valid. I am just here to guide, hold space, and encourage.
Release judgement and be open - of yourself and the practice.
This is an experience to be in your body, do not try and think your way out of the experience. Try not to judge the practice or judge yourself during the practice. Less thinking, more feeling
You get out what you put in.
I am going to encourage you to breathe freely. This may mean vocalizing your exhales and inhales loudly- this is perfectly normal and encouraged! And you will be muted so no one can hear you!
Keep breathing
As long as you are breathing, you’re doing it right :)
You’re invited to breathe through the discomfort.
As stated, you are empowered in this practice. But I would not be doing my job if I did not guide and encourage you to push through your discomfort in order to grow. The breathing pattern may feel uncomfortable and weird at first, so you may want to resist it. I will invite you to try to stick with it, because that is what the practice and the circle is about- growing, sharing, connecting, experiencing.
